Coal India records muted production in Dec'24; offtake up 2.43%

Coal India and its subsidiaries achieved coal production of 72.4 million tons (MT) in month of December 2024 compared to 71.9 MT in December 2023, recording a growth of 0.7%. The coal offtake rose 2.45% to 68.6 MT in December 2024 compared to 67 MT in December 2023.
